Ten on Tuesday (the alliterative version)

1. Santa Snacks: No, they don't believe in Santa, but they decided to put out snacks for the fun of it. What still remains a mystery to me is: Why they decided to put out the entire batch of sugar cookies and why did they put it on the couch?
2. Birthday Boy: The oldest member of our family celebrated his birthday on Christmas Day. Well, celebrated is a misnomer. (I think he'd be happiest if we forgot he had a birthday.)

3. Festive Favorites:

4. December Disappointment: Most of us didn't care, but DS3 was not happy to have a green Christmas this year.

5. Holiday Hit:
He did enjoy his boxing gloves, but this one made it on the list mostly because I can never resist a pun.

6. Cash Camouflage: Some of the boys received cash as part of their loot. Dh and I were trying to figure out how to wrap it, so that it wouldn't get misplaced.
I don't think they were impressed with our practical solution.

7. Dinner Disaster: As I mentioned, Christmas was also dh's birthday. My plan was to make a beef stir fry for his birthday dinner. The beef part didn't quite work out. (And I couldn't run out for another try because it was Christmas after all.) We had rice. We had snow peas. Then we filled the rest of the menu with leftovers and items from the freezer. For instance my youngest had a pancake (from brunch), rice and chicken nuggets. Weirdest dinner ever.

8. Musical Mixup: We learned this week that DS4 thought the lyrics of Carol of the Bells went like this:
(ding) false alarm
(ding) false alarm
Then, he asked us what they lyrics actually were and we had to admit that we didn't know.

9. Paper Projects:

Tree was a facebook post for Ta Da Creative Studios. The other two are hybrid projects using Designer Digital supplies.

10. Scrapbook Share:
Credits at Designer Digitals.

super cool stuff. I like the toilet paper idea. I actually would be happy if I opened toilet paper. I have become very practical. ; )

Also really like the projects!
